2010 Green family and friends reunion is over but not forgotten. We all had such a good time. It grows more and more every year. I hope it continues to do so. Let's keep it up.
Special thanks to Tishomingo Mayor Lewis Parkhill and City Manager Jack Yates for coming. They presented a flag that had flow over the United States Capital to the senior Green, Junior Green. The flag was flown over the capital June 11th. We got it from North Carolina's senator Richard Burr. Once flown, he sent it straight to Tishomingo to be presented on reunion day.
Once again Dale Lay and his band did a great job. He's entertained us for 3 summer's now. What a great job he does. He's a local favorite.
Ann Harkin and crew prepared the food again. The 3rd year in a row......what a great job they do for us. Ann helps me year round, I couldn't pull the whole thing together without her.

While searching for something profound to say, I'm left with only this: as we walk toward the uncertainty, I've strived to be kind, forgiving, a servant, a friend, a confidante, an accomplice, a worker, a gardener, a guide. Share this journey with open eyes, don't judge, my god has that option, not you. The years are growing shorter, we've not the time to waste on petty things. Embrace our differences and celebrate our connection, because we come from the same place in life. No one can change that. It was hard for me to get here, I know it was for you too. We've all have in our minds a list of things we lost along the way, it should be too late to add to that list. Know that I love you.
